It isn’t until a structure fire occurs in a taxpayer or strip mall building that the hazards present are truly understood. This course will equip firefighters and fire officers with the knowledge and skills to understand the hazards associated with taxpayer and strip mall structures and apply that knowledge to tactical decisions. Participants will learn common building construction features, potential hazards and will discuss basic strategy and tactics to employ when combating fires in taxpayer and strip mall features.
