Overview
In today’s society, Public Safety responders are faced with unique critical events such as Active Shooters, Hostage incidents and other critical events that results in casualties early in the event. These events are still ongoing as responders arrive to find a violent, ever changing escalating event leading to additional casualties. The primary goal of responders remains to be “Life Safety” for both the responders and the community we protect. Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, EMS must constantly evaluate tactics and techniques to meet the needs of reaching and maintaining the goal. This program’s intent will be to integrate both Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue allowing a cooperative response to provide medical treatment to injured persons in established hostile warm zones.
