Overview:

This introductory course provides Tennessee fire service personnel with foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to utilize the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) for accurate and compliant incident reporting. Students will learn the purpose and structure of NERIS, the essential data elements required for incident documentation, and the importance of standardized reporting for local, state, and federal analysis.
