Tennessee Department of Agriculture Launches Digital Pesticide Applicator Cards

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) is making it easier for pesticide applicators to access their credentials with the launch of digital pesticide applicator cards.

Eligible applicators can now add their current license, certification and solicitor cards to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, providing a convenient way to keep their credentials readily accessible on their mobile device.

The digital card displays all active licenses and certifications associated with the cardholder. The new service is available through the MyTN mobile app and is designed to provide applicators with quick, secure and convenient access to their credentials when they need them.

“TDA continues to look for opportunities to streamline services and improve the customer experience for Tennesseans,” Assistant Commissioner for Consumer and Industry Services Division Dr. Adam Travis said. “Pesticide applicators can now keep their active credentials right on their phone, making them easier to access when needed and eliminating the need to keep up with a physical card.”

Aerial applicator cards are not included in the initial launch but are expected to be available in a future update.
