Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE –The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet Jan. 11, 2022 at Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville, Tenn. The meeting will take place in the conference room of the Bruer Building located at 406 Hogan Road.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. CDT. The meeting is open to the public to attend.

The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, review of the Division of Forestry 2022 and 2023 budgets, and review of timber sales. The Forestry Commission Annual Report and report from the USDA Farm Service Agency will also be presented.

The Tennessee Forestry Commission comprises seven members representing the public’s interests as they relate to forest resources in the state. The Commission advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on forest issues.
