In recognition of National Weights and Measures Week, TDA is highlighting the role exact measurements play in protecting consumers and ensuring fairness in Tennessee’s marketplace. Celebrated annually March 1–7 to commemorate the signing of the first U.S. weights and measures law in 1799, this year’s theme — “We Measure What Matters” — underscores how accurate measurement supports trust, equity and confidence in every commercial transaction.
