Davy Crockett Lake in Tennessee
Nineteen TWRA managed lakes, located in Middle and West Tennessee, are open year‑round. Some of these lakes are operated by private concessionairesunder contract and offer complete services for the fishing public.
Davy Crockett Lake is found in Crockett County Tennessee, approximately 4 miles west of the Humboldt county line, off State Highway 152. The lake is approximately 87 acres and has restrooms and picnic areas. Fishing facilities include a boat launching ramp, fishing pier, and boat rentals.
Directions: From I-40: Take exit 80B (U.S. Highway 45) north to Humboldt, stay on the bypass west of Humboldt, and turn right on State Highway 152W.

Regulations
Statewide regulations apply for any species not listed below.
- Largemouth Bass: 10 per day, no length limit.
- Bluegill: no creel or length limit.
- Redear: 20 per day, no length limit.
- Crappie (all species): 30 per day, 10 inch minimum length limit.
- Blue/Channel Catfish: 5 per day in combination, no length limit.

Fishing Tips
- Most catfish are caught with the familiar hook, line, and sinker method, but try jug fishing for catfish.
- Use a Number 1 hook baited with chicken livers, catalpa worms, or nightcrawlers.
- Fasten the line to a sealed plastic jug and watch out!
