Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) § 49-13-121, the decision by a local education agency (LEA) to deny a renewal application of a charter agreement may be appealed to the Tennessee Public Charter School Commission. A renewal appeal to the Commission is governed in accordance with T.C.A. § 49-13-121 and the Commission Rules and Policies. For those interested, please refer to our Guidance Document for more information.

  • Public Comment Sign-up Form (Written) The Commission will continue to accept written public comments until one week after the conclusion of the public hearing. Public comment for this hearing will not be accepted after 4:00 P.M. CDT on March 8th, 2022.
  • Public Comment Sign-up Form (In-person) Public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per individual, and no more than 15 individuals will be able to provide in-person comment during the meeting. The deadline to sign up for a public comment is 9:00 AM CST on March 7, 2022.
