Public Chapter 275 of 2025 requires the State Board of Education, in consultation with with Commission, to develop charter school applications and rubrics. All application documents can be accessed on the State Board of Education's website.
Letters of Intent
Pursuant to T.C.A. § 49-13-107(a) the Commission is required to “make letters of intent received by the commission available on its website no later than ten (10) days from the date on which the letter was received.” Making a letter of intent available on its website is not an expressed approval or a determination of accuracy by the Commission or any authorizer.
As of December 3, 2025, the Commission received the following letters of intent in accordance with Tennessee law.
