Direct Applications

Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) § 49-13-108, if the Commission has overturned a local board of education's decision to deny a charter school application three times within a three year period, then for the following five years any sponsor that seeks to establish a charter school within that LEA may apply directly to the Commission.
