The Teacher Preparation Report card is a tool that local school districts, prospective teachers, educator preparation providers in Tennessee, and the public can use to better understand the quality of teacher preparation across the state. Data included in the report card uses multiple metrics, including placement and retention, observation and growth scores of recent graduates, among others, to provide information about the effectiveness of teachers who graduate from all approved Tennessee preparation programs.
