Schools and Service Providers

Eligible and interested service providers and Tennessee non-public schools should read below for additional information on how to participate in the program.

  • School is located in Tennessee:
    • (a) has a physical location owned or leased by the non-public school located in the state of Tennessee where students may receive educational services and testing; and
    • (b) registers with the Department to receive funds from the Program.
  • School is a Category I, II, or III private school.

EFS School Registration for the 2027-28 EFS school year will be open from November 16, 2026, through April 30, 2027.

Please be advised that the EFS registration process is separate from Tennessee's category school approval process. Schools must complete EFS registration within the designated timeframe. No exceptions can be made to the April 30, 2027, deadline.
