HENNING – For the first time in several years, a sitting Tennessee Governor visited a state prison. Earlier today, Commissioner Tony Parker, Warden Jonathan Lebo, Warden Trinity Minter and the entire prison staff welcomed Governor Bill Haslam to the facility in Henning, Tennessee.

NASHVILLE – In accordance with protocol, inmate Billy Ray Irick #113945 was moved to death watch last night at 11:30 p.m. Death watch is the three-day period before an execution when strict guidelines are implemented to maintain the security and control of the offender and to maintain safe and orderly operations of the prison.

A total of twelve clients were honored for last night, marking almost of year of sobriety for them all and the completion of the three-phase intensive, substance abuse treatment program.
