Selection of Media Witnesses *Updated*
NASHVILLE – In accordance with state law, representatives from the following news media agencies have been selected to witness the execution of inmate Edmund Zagorski #102839. The witnesses were randomly selected from applications from recognized Tennessee news organizations to serve as statutorily required witnesses.
Six media witnesses were selected by the Tennessee Department of Correction during a drawing held at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution located at 7475 Cockrill Bend Boulevard, Nashville, TN. The drawing took place on Tuesday, September 25th at 12pm CT.
The department was later contacted by another media entity regarding their submitted application and was informed that their fax hadn’t been received. However due to the small pool of applicants and in the interest of transparency, the department has elected to add this additional media entity to the witness pool thereby bringing the total to seven.
The witnesses are now:

4. Jason Lamb, WTVF
5. Brittany Weiner, WSMV
6. Blake Farmer, WPLN
7. Josh Breslow, WKRN
The drawing was conducted in accordance with the Rules of the Tennessee Department of Correction Adult Services Division, Chapter 0420-3-4, under the authority of TCA 40-23-116.
