Wellness Center
The Wellness Center provides nursing and medical care to students enrolled at Tennessee Rehabilitation Center. The Wellness Center is staffed by licensed nurses Sunday thru Thursday 6 AM-11 PM, Friday and Saturday 6 AM- Midnight to meet students' health care needs. There are also providers (physician and nurse practitioner) and psychiatrist staff on call who are available to treat students should medical or psychiatric issues arise. The goal of the Wellness Center is to maintain health and independent living through specific health care services and education.
SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Provider (Physician or Nurse Practitioner) assessment and treatment
- Psychiatric evaluation with recommendations
- Medication administration
- First Aid
- Emergency care
- Health education
There is an infirmary where students can be housed for short-term illnesses.
