TRC Behavior Support System

The TRC Behavior Support System includes positive behavior supports along with Student Conduct Guidelines and due process measures.  TRC is focused on helping the student learn and practice new skills by providing coaching/teaching, positive reinforcement, and supports and education on coping strategies.  The Student Conduct Guidelines are in place to address student choices that pose a Health and Safety concern on campus through due process measures.  All TRC Staff use a positive behavior approach to allow all students’ access to learning by being proactive, maintaining a positive learning environment, and being consistent.  The Behavior Team focuses on explaining expectations upfront, identifying and building on skills deficits, and providing individualized opportunities for meet behavior goals.  The Behavior Team cooperates with TRC Staff to identify, address, and build skills that the students can generalize to work and the community.
