Welcome Back!

October 25th, 2024 - Middle Tennessee State University

We are excited to invite you to the second annual Operator Appreciation Day event! The agenda and other specifics can be found on this page in the coming months as we confirm details for the big day.

When attending this event you can receive six (6) continuing education credits towards any of the following (1) one certifications: Water Treatment Plant Operator, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, Water Distribution System Operator, or Wastewater Collection System Operator.

Parking

There will be no fees for parking. Look for attendants who will be directing you to the appropriate lots. The areas that will be available to you have limited spaces, carpooling is recomended.

Meals

  • Coffee and water will be availble throughout the day at assigned beverage stations.
  • Lunches will be provided at no charge by visiting McCallie's Dining Hall, located in the Keathley University Center (KUC) on the second floor. You will be required to walk approximately 10 minutes one way to reach the dining hall. 
  • If you do not wish to eat at the dining hall you may purchase your own meals in the restaurants in the located downstairs. Choices include: Bento Sushi, Panda Express, Nashville Chicken & Waffles, Blendz Bowls, and P.O.D. Express (conveinent store).

Those requiring accomodation can be provided transportation by golf cart from MTSU Staff.

Q: When is registration cut off for Operators?
A: Operators may register until October 13, 2024 at 11:59 PM CST.

Q: Can I register in person on October 25, 2024?
A: No, registrations will not be permitted after October 14, 2024.

Q: When is registration cut off for Vendor & Presentors?
A: Vendors & Presentors may register until September 19, 2024 at 11:59 PM CST.

Q: What if there are no more parking spaces?
A: Parking attendants will have a tag for your vehicle and direct you towards another designated area.

Q: Will this event be ADA accessible?
A: Enter the MTSU Student Union building atrium and following the signs for elevator access to the second floor.

Q: Where can I smoke?
A: Due to tobacco free campus policies there are no designated smoking areas.

Q: Is there food on campus?
A: Yes, lunch will be provided at no charge by visiting McCallie's Dining Hall - Located in the Keathley University Center (KUC), on the second floor.

Q: What if I dont want to eat at McCallie's?
A: You may purchase your own meals on the first floor of the Student Untion Building. Choices include: Bento Sushi, Panda Express, Nashville Chicken & Waffles, Blendz Bowls, and P.O.D. Express (conveinent store).
