State Archaeological Parks & Areas
Tennessee State Parks has two state archaeological parks open daily to the public, Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park near Jackson and Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park in Manchester. Sellars Farm State Archaeological Area near Lebanon is a day use area also open to the public. Johnston, Castalian Springs, Mound Bottom, and Link Farm State Archaeological Areas may be visited during seasonal tours offered by the Tennessee Division of Archaeology and Tennessee State Parks.
