Shelton Ferry WMA
Directions and Description
Directions: From Nashville, take I-24 east (toward Chattanooga) and exit at the Arnold Air Force Base exit (#117). Turn right onto Wattendorf Highway, and the WMA is on both sides of the highway, all the way to Tullahoma.
From Clarksville, take Hwy 48/13 south across the Cumberland River and stay on Hwy 48 towards Dickson. In 0.7 miles, turn left onto Southside Road, turn left onto Southside Drive, and follow past the Shooting Complex. This road ends in the Shelton's Ferry River Bottoms, and paved roads provide access north to the boat ramp and south to various sections of the WMA. Lat-Long: 36.40384, -87.28509
The WMA is open year-round during daylight hours, with access dependent on hunting seasons. License fees may apply.

Regulations & Dates
Small Game, Trapping, and Dog Training - Same as statewide seasons, except as noted.
Deer - Archery equipment only for deer hunting. Archers must comply with legal blaze orange/pink requirements during muzzleloader and gun seasons.
Deer (Young Sportsman) - Same as statewide season. Guns may be used on Young Sportsman hunts.
Turkey (Spring and Fall) - Same as statewide season. Shotguns may be used.
Firing Range - Montgomery County Shooting Complex.
