Bill Dance Lake State Fishing Area
Bill Dance Lake State Fishing Area is located in Fayette County, fifteen miles north of Collierville on Fisherville Lake Road. From Collierville, follow Hwy. 205 (Collierville -Arlington Road) to Monterey Lake Road, turn right, go to Fisherville Lake Road, then turn left to the entrance. From I-40, take Exit 25 (Hwy. 205) south to Hwy. 193. Turn left on Hwy. 193, then turn right on Fisherville Lake Road to the entrance.
Bill Dance Lake State Fishing Area is a 177-acre lake with family picnic areas, restrooms, a boat launching ramp, and a fishing pier.

Regulations
Statewide regulations apply for any species not listed below.
- Largemouth Bass: 10 per day, 16–20 inch PLR. Only one (1) fish longer than 20 inches may be harvested.
- Bluegill/Redear: 10 per day, no length limit.
- Crappie (all species): No creel or length limit
- Blue/Channel Catfish: Five (5) per day in combination, 16-inch minimum length limit.
- Hybrid Striped Bass: 16-inch minimum length limit, two (2) fish per day creel limit

Fishing Tips:
- Catfishing is best after the dogwoods bloom in spring until cold weather.
- Try fresh chicken livers or large catalpa worms.
- Crappie fishing is best during the spawning season with small minnows and jigs in shallow water.
