VFW Lake in Tennessee

General Description

The VFW Lake in Lawrence County,  Tennessee is twelve miles west of Lawrenceburg off U.S. Highway 64. 

The lake is 22 acres and offers a picnic area, vending machines, and restrooms.  The fishing facilities include a boat launching ramp, fishing piers, and boat rentals.  For more information call (931) 762-7200.


Regulations

Largemouth Bass: 5 per day, no length limit.
Bluegill/Redear: 20 per day in combination, no length limit.
Crappie (all species): 15 per day, 10-inch minimum length limit.
Blue/Channel Catfish: 5 per day in combination, 14-inch minimum length limit.

Fishing Tips:

  • Minnows and crayfish are major natural food sources for bass. 
  • Artificial lures with these colors and actions are usually most productive.
