Big Tennessee Catfish!

The trip began with a phone call to my good buddy Brandon Masters who lives in Spring City and operates Watts Bar Bait Company. After a fun-filled day with the family in downtown Chattanooga., We checked the weather and current using the TVA app and decided to fish Nickajack. We selected the Hales Bar area to see the old dam while fishing.  We targeted monster blue catfish using Dirty South Dragging Weights, Trophy Cat Tackle, and Spread em planer boards. We started before daylight because we love dragging baits at night and worked our way into the day. It was a fantastic day! We landed 12 fish and released every one of them so that they could grow to be monsters!  Conservation is the most important thing to us. It’s always fun to meet up and fish the TN waters with my buddy. We will be back!
