TWRA Online Hunter Education

Any of these 4 courses make you hunter-ed certified upon completion of the online course. All of these courses are approved by the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) and the certification is valid in all 50 states. These courses are user-friendly and self-directed.   Study at your own pace, then take the exam.

When you pass the online exam, you can print your Tennessee Hunter Safety Education Certificate and the information will be transferred to our license system to show to any officer that you are hunter education certified.

Options Available

In addition to the traditional hunter education course, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is now providing an option to people age 9 and over to complete hunter education completely online with no field day requirement.  Please reference the Tennessee hunting guide for specific Tennessee state hunting laws.

Step 1: Complete one of the following online classes:

Step 2:  Print your Tennessee Hunter Safety Education Certificate after successfully completing the online course.
