The Communications and Legislative Affairs Bureau strengthens the Department’s ability to communicate clearly with the public and media and engage effectively with local, state, and federal partners. It supports TDOT by providing coordinated internal and external communication, legislative strategy, and federal policy engagement that advances the Department’s priorities and ensures alignment with key stakeholders. Housed within this bureau are the Communications and Legislative Affairs divisions.
