Region 4

As the TDOT Region 4 Director, Jason Baker provides executive leadership for Department operations across 21 counties of West Tennessee, including pre- construction engineering, highway maintenance and repair, construction engineering, traffic engineering and management, field operations including bridge repair and inspection, floating maintenance, garage operations, and business office administration. He is also responsible for guiding project delivery and ensuring effective, efficient operational performance across the region.

Jason began his career with TDOT in 1999 as a Graduate Engineer in the Roadway Design Office and advanced through a variety of roles in the Environmental Office, Project Management, and as Director of Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
