ETCCY's There's No Excuse for Child Abuse

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and ETCCY will be conducting an Educational Event on Friday, April 5th, entitled: “There’s No Excuse for Child Abuse!” at Calhoun’s on the River, 400 Neyland Drive, Knoxville, TN from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

This important educational event is presented through the courtesy of District Attorney General Charme Allen and the staff of the Office of the District Attorney General, 6th Judicial District. Guest Speakers will include Tammy Hicks, Asst. DA with the Juvenile Court Unit, Ashley McDermott, Asst. DA, Team Leader of the Child Abuse Unit, Captain Greg Faulkner with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Family Crimes Unit, and Lt. Michael Perry and Sgt. Nick Lockmiller with the Knoxville Police Department Special Crimes Unit. This event will include Child Abuse Prevention, Investigation, and Prosecution.
