Youth Justice Reform
In 2018, the Tennessee General Assembly enacted legislation to The Joint Ad-Hoc Tennessee Blue Ribbon Task Force on Juvenile Justice led by state Speaker of the House Beth Harwell and Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris has issued its report on juvenile justice in Tennessee with recommendations for reforms.
In January 2017, the preceding Juvenile Justice Realignment Task Force issued its Summary of Recommendations.
