Tennessee parents, guardians, and advocates are invited to the next Parents and Partners Connect virtual event. These online question-and-answer sessions are hosted by Child Support professionals from the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
Tennessee parents can register to “drop in” on the next session to ask Child Support experts about:
- Services Offered by TDHS
- Types of Cases
- Who is Involved in Child Support
- How to Apply
- How to Resolve
If you’re new to Tennessee’s Child Support Program or if you have questions, this online event is a great opportunity to get information about participating in or interacting with the Child Support program in Tennessee.
In addition to general information, each Parents and Partners Connect Session will include a segment on a special topic based on the following schedule:

- Wednesday, March 19, 2025 - Children Turning 18
- Thursday, April 24, 2025 - Financial Literacy Month/Receiving Child Support
- Wednesday, May 14, 2025 - Families First and Child Support
- Wednesday, June 18, 2025 - Kindergarten Readiness
- Wednesday, July 16, 2025-Debt Compromise
- Thursday, August 14, 2025-Child Support Awareness
- Wednesday, September 17, 2025 - Resources for Nonparental Caretakers
- Thursday, October 16, 2025 - Domestic Violence Awareness Month
- Wednesday, November 12, 2025 - Military Family Month
- Thursday, December 11, 2025 -Establishing Paternity
About the Child Support Program at the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS)
The TDHS Child Support Program Offers the following Services:
- Locating parents for the purpose of obtaining support
- Establishing the parentage of a child
- Establishing a child support order
- Enforcement of a child support order
- Working across state lines for intergovernmental cooperation
- Review and adjustment of child support orders
