Maury County students with disabilities can find independent living and career readiness activities at this year's Camp Readiness. This camp is hosted by Access Academy in partnership with the
Vocational Rehabilitation Team at the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
The camp curriculum will focus on:
- Communication
- Speaking Up
- Living Independently
- Identifying Jobs
- Exploring Next Steps

Who Can Attend Pre-Employment Transition Summer Camp?
This camp is open to students ages 14-22 who receive Pre-Employment Transition Services, have a documented disability, and are enrolled in high school, middle school, post-secondary education, or an extended transition program.
Registration Information:
Participants should register with their Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor or representative by May 24, 2024.

The Division of Rehabilitation Services at the Tennessee Department of Human Services has a variety of supports and programs to help Tennesseans with disabilities find higher levels of independence through employment, accessibility tools, and other resources.
