Meetings were originally scheduled to take place around the state, but due to the COVID-19 recommendations concerning public gatherings; we will be conducting remotely with ZOOM.

The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Proposed State Plan for Independent Living for FY 2021-2023. This state plan under Title VII, relates to promoting a philosophy of independent living in order to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. The SILC is required to hold scheduled meetings that are open to the public.
