February 23: Hope Oliver

Hope Oliver is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and resides in La Vergne, Tennessee with her husband and four children. She graduated from Tennessee State University in 1992 with an AAS in Dental Hygiene; in 1995 with a BS in Dental Hygiene and again in 2004 with a M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction.

Mrs. Oliver has enjoyed a career as a registered dental hygienist, an educator, and a curriculum consultant. She also enjoys volunteering in the community. In addition to being the CEO of H.O.P.E. Early Learning Center, Mrs. Oliver is a Certified CPR Instructor and consults on various educational projects as an Independent Educational Consultant.

As an educator for 24 years, Mrs. Oliver has taught at the high school and collegiate levels and volunteered as a dental health educator in multiple school settings and churches. She currently volunteers as a TN Achieves Mentor with Tennessee Promise and is the Vice-President of the Pyramid Foundation of Tennessee, a non-profit organization that focuses on culture, curriculum, and community development. Mrs. Oliver is a member of the Rutherford County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the Epsilon Psi Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporaterd.

As an expert in curriculum development and management; teaching and learning; classroom management; and CPR, Mrs. Oliver is establishing H.O.P.E. Early Learning Center as a solid foundation where children develop academically, spiritually, and socially and staff grow professionally.
