Treatment for Pregnant Women Abusing Substances
Individuals who are pregnant, intravenous drug users, abusing substances, and in medically-monitored withdrawal management may be eligible for prevention, treatment, and recovery support services and activities.
Priority admissions to licensed treatment agencies are:
- Pregnant Intravenous Drug Users
- Pregnant Substance Users
- Intravenous Drug Users
- Medically Monitored Withdrawal Management (Crisis Detoxification)
Eligibility based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Services target adolescents and adults in need of treatment and/or recovery support services including detoxification, outpatient treatment, and HIV outreach.
Services are evidence-based and culturally competent for individuals such as children of substance-abusing parents, children with incarcerated parents, children in foster care, and county-level coalitions that foster community environments discouraging substance misuse and abuse.
