Applying for Unemployment Benefits
1. File a Claim

4. Expect Two Letters
The first explains your potential benefit amount. The second tells you the agency's decision.
5. Receive Payment
Repeat Steps 2 & 3 weekly
If you have a return-to-work date, you do not have to look for work, but only certify to request a payment for the previous week.
