The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development seeks public comment on its Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State Plan. In alignment with the requirements of TEGL 04-23, this plan reimagines the way the state approaches workforce development over the next four years and serves as a strategic and operational guide for innovative, proactive, and transformative results for the Tennessee Workforce System.
The plan will be available for review and public comment until Friday, March 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (CST). Please click the comment box to include your comments and email address. All comments will be reviewed by one or more WIOA partner programs, which include the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Tennessee Department of Human Services, Tennessee Department of Education, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
