Property for Future Bradley County Tennessee State Veterans Home is Accepted

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Veterans Services Commissioner Many-Bears Grinder and Tennessee Department of General Services Deputy Commissioner John Hull in partnership with the Tennessee State Veterans Home Board will ceremonially accept the donated property for the future Bradley County Tennessee State Veterans Home on Friday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).  They will be joined by Rep. Kevin Brooks (R-Cleveland), Rep. Dan Howell (R-Georgetown), Sen. Todd Gardenhire (R-Chattanooga), Sen. Mike Bell (R-Riceville), Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland, Bradley County Mayor D. Gary Davis, land donors Robert Wright, Steve and Thomas Williams as well as trustees of the American Legion Post 81 along with Southeast Tennessee Veterans Home Council Co-Chair Cid Heidel, Co-Chair and Bradley County Commissioner Mark Hall as well as fellow council members.

On March 4, 2016, the State of Tennessee Real Estate Management Division formally closed on the property.
