Established by Executive Order 102, the Tri-Stars and Stripes: The Governor’s Council for Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families coordinates efforts across:
- State Agencies

- Veteran Service Organizations
- Higher Education Institutions

Together, we work to enhance the lives of Tennessee’s military and Veteran community by addressing critical issues and expanding opportunities.

- Veteran Transition & Employment - Connecting Veterans with career opportunities and workforce development programs.
- Housing Stability - Ensuring access to safe and affordable housing solutions.
- Suicide Prevention - Expanding mental health resources and crisis intervention efforts.
- Justice System Navigation - Supporting Veterans involved in the legal system with tailored services.
- Healthcare Access - Improving medical and mental health care options for Veterans and families.
