Agency Supports Annual Fishing at Foundation Event

TWRA recently supported the 5th Annual Fishing at the Fountain event by providing rainbow trout from Buffalo Springs Hatchery for students in the Morristown East High School Work-Based Learning Program.

District 42 game wardens DeShun Leeper, Justin Pinkston, and Tyler Mullins spent the morning assisting students as they reeled in their catches, joined by several local anglers who volunteered their time to make the experience memorable.

TWRA’s Morristown Hatchery also contributed water for the event, which was transported by the West Hamblen County Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to these partnerships and the enthusiasm of everyone involved, the event was a tremendous success for the students and the community.
