Agency Partners with Titans’ Jeffery Simmons for Youth Fishing Event at Old Hickory Lake

Agency staff participated in a fishing event hosted by Tennessee Titan Jeffery Simmons at Cedar Creek Marina on Old Hickory Lake on Sept. 9. Through his Give Em a Reason Foundation, in partnership with Music City Bass and Big Brothers and Sisters of Middle Tennessee, 12 youngsters were coached by Jeffery and others on how to fish off the dock at the marina.

A member of the Titans since being drafted out of Mississippi State in 2019, he is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and twice a Walter Peyton Man of the Year nominee.

“Being able to give back is something I am truly grateful to do,” Jeffery said. “I love fishing, and it is a reset for me. Seeing the kids get involved and the smile on their faces is very gratifying. To be able to host my first fishing event is truly an honor, and I want to thank everyone who made this day possible.”
