TWRA Participates in Inaugural Outdoor Recreation Day Held on the Hill

TWRA highlighted the important role of wildlife conservation during the inaugural Outdoor Recreation Day on the Hill. The Spring5 event provided an opportunity for Tennessee General Assemblymembers to learn more about the outdoor recreation industry including hunting, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, paddling, and more.

 Representatives from Tennessee State Parks, Department of Agriculture, Economic and Community Development, Department of Tourism, and others were also in attendance. In total, 30 stakeholder groups and 400 individuals attended the event.
