Agency Continues Support of Mississippi River Monsters Event

The 2025 Mississippi River Monsters Championship recently took place in Memphis, attracting hundreds of anglers from across the country who competed for the title.

This year, 3,295 pounds of fish were weighed in during the competition, including nine tournament limits that exceeded 100 pounds and two individual fish that weighed over 80 pounds each. TWRA supports this annual event by releasing the fish back into the Mississippi River.
