NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) reports there was a single fatality over the July 4th holiday and Operation Dry Water weekend. The incident occurred on Center Hill Lake shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday evening (July 3) when a 57-year-old Brentwood woman jumped into a water from a ski boat and was fatality injured by the prop.

The total reported harvest is 29,037, down 2,610 (8 percent decrease) from 2024 and a 13 percent decrease over the previous 5-year average (33,304).

NASHVILLE --- The 2025 Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day is set for Saturday, June 7 in Tennessee. All state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee’s public waters.
