Tennessee Builders Alliance

The Northern Middle Workforce Board partnered with the Tennessee Builders Alliance to offer training for over 65 individuals seeking careers in the construction trades.  The Titans Construction Training Camp TC2 provided 100 hours of paid training.  Participants earned $18 per hour and were provided new tools and safety gear as part of the training from Dewalt and Milwaukee Tools.  Four cohorts were completed with the majority of the candidates being justice involved. Removing participant barriers is a priority for the Northern Middle Board. To support women in construction, one cohort prioritized female enrollments in the non-traditional construction sector.
