The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation's (TDEC) Pollution Prevention (P2) Program team hosts free, expert-led webinars and workshops for Tennessee’s manufacturers who are interested in pollution prevention and sustainable practices. Although the topics are industry-focused, the webinars are open to all who are interested.

Description

The reuse and recycling of high-value materials has proven profitable for manufacturers in Tennessee—but most plastics have yet to achieve the same success. Although plastics are recyclable at large scales in Tennessee, many industries still struggle to identify profitable opportunities from waste plastics or access lower-cost recycled materials. Vaughn Cassidy and Dr. Matthew Korey will identify plastics recycling supply chain opportunities and highlight successful material reuse projects across the state.
