Venue and Area Information

The 2023 Current Research in Tennessee Archaeology annual meeting will be held at the Tennessee State Library and Archives in downtown Nashville. The TSLA is conveniently located on the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park at 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N. Please visit the TSLA’s website for driving directions. The main entrance to TSLA is on the 6th Avenue side of the building. 

Parking

Free parking for the Saturday event is available in State Lot 8 and State Lot 12, located north and south of Harrison Street between 6th Ave North and Rep. John Lewis Way North. ADA parking is available in State Lot 12.

Lunch

Participants and attendees will be on their own during the Saturday lunch break. The Market House at the Nashville Farmers’ Market is a short five-minute walk across the Bicentennial Mall from TSLA. There you’ll find lunch options for all tastes. Several other restaurants are available within a short walk of TSLA.

Lodging

Although there is no meeting hotel, lodging may be found in downtown Nashville and throughout the greater Metro Nashville area. Please visit your preferred travel website of choice to find hotels or other overnight rental options.

Associated Events
