Get a Tennessee State Parks License Plate
Established in 1995, the Iris Fund is supported by proceeds from the official Tennessee State Parks license plate. Revenue from this specialty plate is dedicated to projects that improve native landscaping at state parks, natural areas, and archaeological sites. Over time, the scope of Iris Fund projects has expanded to include larger ecological restoration and land management projects that steward and showcase each site’s unique ecosystems.
Submit Observations of Rare Species
Staff from Division of Natural Areas are always on the look out for rare plants, animals, and ecological communities. If you see a rare species in the wild, we'd love to hear about it! Observations of rare species reported to our office are recorded in our natural heritage database and are used to advance conservation and science in Tennessee.
