Arts Ed Data Project

Informing the Future of Arts Education

The Tennessee Arts Education Data Project, developed in partnership between the CMA Foundation and the Tennessee Arts Commission, will support the State of the Arts initiative by presenting school-level data around student access to arts education. This project will empower nonprofits, foundations, and districts with data for informed decision making and support strong learning networks for arts and music programs.

Tennessee Arts Education Data Project (TN-AEDP)

The Country Music Association (CMA) Foundation and Tennessee Arts Commission have commissioned the launch of the Tennessee Arts Education Data Project (TN-AEDP) dashboard. The detailed, user-friendly dashboard, produced by Quadrant Research, presents baseline data on pre-K–12 student access to and participation in arts education. The purpose of the project is to empower school districts, educators, policymakers, and funders with arts education data for decision-making in support of a well-rounded education.

The Tennessee Arts Education Data Project dashboard displays arts access and enrollment data for Tennessee’s pre-K–12 schools as reported annually by school districts via EIS. The dashboard does not display information regarding community arts opportunities or programs outside the school day.
