New Contract Cycle

Contract Cycle 2024 to 2029

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C requires that each eligible child receive an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) which sets forth appropriate interventions at certain points in the child’s development and eligibility period from service providers from various appropriate fields. The Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities' Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) is seeking Early Intervention Service Providers to apply for a five-year contract to provide services to eligible children enrolled in TEIS.

Agencies/individuals interested in providing services to children and families enrolled in TEIS should review the information provided for their respective disciplines prior to completing the application. Interested agencies can apply by completing the appropriate application(s) using the Formstack links provided.

Applications opened on January 8, 2024.

The application period will close for Early Intervention Resource Agencies on March 31, 2024.

The State will continue to accept applications for vendor therapy services, assistive technology services, and interpreter services through May 31, 2024. However, the effective date of the contract may be later than July 1, 2024 if a contract is awarded to late applicants.
