December 2023 Open Line
December 2023
As we wrap up 2023, remember that it is important to take care of yourself year-round. Taking care of yourself allows you to be able to be more present and enjoy the holidays for years to come. Over the holidays taking care of yourself might look different, and that’s okay. Enjoy your favorite holiday dish, rest as needed, laugh with loved ones, and be gentle with yourself.

Slow Down
During the holiday season, it can be difficult to find time to slow down. In the next week or two, find time to try this 10-minute Mindful Eating Meditation and share what you learned from the exercise: https://stateoftennessee.formstack.com/forms/wfhtn_mindful_eating_meditation
Five participants chosen at random will win a prize!

Recipe Spotlight!
Warm up with a Non-Alcoholic Hot Not Toddy Tea. Any type of tea will make a great hot not-toddy, so explore your options. While waiting for your tea to brew, pour the extra water from your teapot into the glass or mug you’ll be using. This warms up the mug and keeps your not-toddy hot longer. Dump the water before building the drink.
