South Central Correctional Facility (SCCF) is a time-building prison with a security designation of medium. SCCF is managed by CoreCivic, a private corrections management firm.
SCCF offers self-improvement programs in every unit of the prison. Inmates participate in a variety of programs including the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), work programs, mental health programs and Career Technical Education.
Academic programs include GED, Adult Basic Education and literacy tutoring. Vocational programs include Career Exploration, Computer Literacy, Computer-Aided Design, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
