Wolf River State Forest, Public Hunting Area (PHA)
Directions and Description
Directions: North entrance From Sommerville, take Hwy 76 south approximately 7.5 miles. The State Forest will be on both sides of the road.
South entrance From LaGrange, take Hwy 76 north approximately 6.5 miles. The State Forest will be on both sides of the road.

Regulations & Dates
Big Game, Small Game, and Trapping - same as statewide seasons except as noted.
Quail - Closed to quail hunting
Rabbit - Closes January 31
Waterfowl - Same as statewide season. Permanent duck blinds are not permitted. Temporary blinds only.
Dog Training - Not permitted.
Special Regulations - Open one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset. Walk-in hunting access only. No motorized vehicles will be allowed outside of designated parking areas.
